We stayed at the end of December 2024, we found the room very warm as we had requested, the room very clean even the bathroom. Very rustic, charming and very welcoming from the reception to the room. Equipped with all the accessories dispensabil inside the room and close to the countries to visit. Definitely we will return. Excellent!

Beautiful building in equally beautiful old village. It was pleasant to walk around and stop to chat with the locals, who were very warm and friendly. Fabulous rooms in the palace, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Good breakfast on the terrace with exceptional views.
Very friendly staff. Hard to find weak points. Access by car, in case you have to unload heavy luggage, is certainly not easy, but impossible to improve… Perhaps it would be useful to be warned in advance about the location of the car park below.

The structure is wonderful in a strategic position to visit the heart of the Val d’Orcia, helpful staff and always smiling, the village is a little gem in stone where peace and silence reigns. The standard accommodation had everything we could need, travelling in 3 with the little dog we were pleasantly surprised by the double room and double bathroom, I would say more than perfect. Furnishings perfectly in style with the place, frescoes on the walls that give an elegant touch, air conditioning in both rooms, spacious bathrooms, curtains covering the windows so there was no need to close the shutters, breakfast super abundant and with excellent products served in the garden with a wonderful view.

Large and comfortable room (we took the suite because we have two small girls ..) overlooking the valley, breakfast good and plentiful and strategic location for visiting the most popular villages of the Val d’Orcia. But above all kindness and hospitality of the staff. Highly recommended.

The only ‘flaw’, although it did not create any problem, is the lack of a restaurant inside the structure, reading the reviews, so our mistake, we had understood that there was, the staff promptly recommended nearby restaurants that have done to our case, the first for example is 4 minutes away by car where we dined two evenings for the excellent cuisine and hospitality (The Madonnino dei Monti)

We happened to be looking for a solution for the night on our Val d’Orcia tour.
The palace is located in Petroio one of the many beautiful small villages in Tuscany, the location is beautiful and evocative, the rooms are furnished with taste ‘old’ and a courtyard that overlooks with a beautiful view, where you can have breakfast and soon dine, I say soon because the new management has opened just the day we stayed, the staff was very friendly and helpful, true there is some small point to be perfected, such as the choice of breakfast or some small tricks in the rooms, but I’m sure they will have time to improve so 5 points deserved.
If you are in the area I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location in a very deserving hamlet.
The breakfast served in the garden is pleasant. As for the staff Giovanna stands out for professionalism, kindness and courtesy, the rest almost makes it difficult to say hello……meglio that he changes profession.

We were guests in this charming establishment, restored with attention to detail but, above all, maintaining a link with the historicity of the old residence. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I recommend it to anyone who wants to go on a tour of the Orcia valley.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We travelled with our teenage daughter and we all enjoyed our five night stay very much. The breakfast was fantastic. The town is very charming.
